Series: \u201cThe Black Ha\u0144cza River\u201d<\/h1>\n

Life, a river, a current. And we are immersed in its flow, with no way out. We drift because we must.
\nSometimes we like it, sometimes we don\u2019t. Sometimes we want to, and other times we\u2019ve had enough.
\nWe don\u2019t know what lies beyond the next bend. A gentle landscape? A rocky waterfall?
\nWe keep moving forward with curiosity, believing that whatever awaits us will be the best for us.
\nThat, for heaven\u2019s sake, things will finally be okay, right? Actually, they already are.
\nThe bad will pass, because it always does. After all, we are in constant motion\u2014we\u2019re flowing.<\/p>\n

With trust in our God (whatever He\/She\/It may be), we float on the water, surrendering to fate.
\nBreathing deeply and calmly, until we become the water ourselves. We are living water.
\nWithout resistance, without struggle.
\nWe drift.<\/p>\n

Before creating the piece with a woman floating on the water, I painted studies.
\nThis is how the two paintings of aquatic plants above came to be. The theme of the river\u2019s current fascinated me so much that it lingered in my mind for several more months. This resulted in additional works: \u201cThe Hair of the Black Ha\u0144cza\u201d and \u201cThe Living River.\u201d<\/p>\n

We are incredibly fortunate that in northeastern Poland, rivers are crystal clear and thrive in their fullness of life.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
